Add Text to Your 1&1 MyWebsite Page

In this article we will teach you how to edit existing text or add new text with 1&1 MyWebsite.

To customise your website, you can add a new text element.

Click the Insert Elements icon from the main menu on the right-hand side. 1&1 MyWebsite editor > Insert Elements

Click and hold the Text Box icon.

Drag the Text Box icon to the area of the page where you want the text to appear. Release the mouse button when you have positioned the text element in the correct location. 1&1 MyWebsite page where to include the new text box

In the text box, add new text. Use the formatting buttons above the text box to format the text as necessary. Click Save at the bottom of the element when done. Text Box in which to enter and edit the text

Your new text element will appear on the page.

Please note:
To edit the text, click on the text element to modify it.

If you want the text element to appear on a different position of your page, hover your mouse over it and use the up arrow or down arrow to move the text up or down. Alternatively, you can drag and drop the element to another location on the page. New text element with up and down arrows
